Blog Intros Are Not My Strong Suit

Hi interwebs! My name is Courtney and I don't really know how to write a decent blog intro post. I guess this is where I tell you guys about myself.


I am a continental knitter and a college student with a full-time job. I have a husband named Mike, two cats and six reptiles, all of whom lovingly tolerate my slowly expanding stash and near-constant knitting. I taught myself to knit in November 2009 with Boye aluminum straight needles in size US 9 (5.5mm), two balls of purple Vanna's Choice yarn and the internet. There is nothing knitting related that I'm not willing to try, be it garment, fiber or technique. 


I want to use this blog as a chronicle of my fibrous adventures, so here I go!
